28-29 November 2019, Swiss Aeropole / Payerne (CH)

The REDS institute of the Haute École d’Ingénierie et de Gestion of the Vaud canton (HEIG-VD), specialized in the development of high-performance reconfigurable systems, is organizing a conference on Software Defined Radios (SDRs) in the context of SDR Makerspace, a European Space Agency (ESA)-sponsored project. These “software radios” are transceivers that take advantage of the flexibility of software to attain unsurpassed performances in terms of robustness and adaptability, and this turns out to be a key advantage in domains such as spatial communications.

The conference will put particular emphasis on the Makerspace concept, in which the developer’s community proposes innovative technological approaches via open source software.

The main track of the conference will be held on the 28th of November and will sport presentations by experts from both academia and industry, followed by a friendly cocktail-buffet with posters, demos, and expositions of industrial solutions. Domain experts will then lead workshops on the morning of the 29th of November.

The detailed program is available here: https://sdrmaker.space/sdrconference19/.

Participating at the conference is completely free of charge. Nonetheless, for organizational purposes (places are limited), registration (here) is mandatory.
